The “R” Family
Last night, I had a fun session with the “R” family. We had a pretty quick session because we were loosing light really fast. I am missing my summer evening light, big time, but I am definitely looking forward to the cooler temps. Anyway, we got some great shots despite the fading light. Thanks guys, it was great meeting you all. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Little Man “J” {16 days old}
This morning, I had the pleasure of photographing the most handsome little man – “J” and his parents. We started our session with “J” wide awake and got some great family shots and even some great shots of him alone awake. He was giving me some serious eye contact, which is very rare for a newborn. Then he dozed off for some adorable sleepy shots. Thanks guys for a nice morning. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
Doesn’t he look deep in thought here?

And here he catching some zzzzzz’s.

I had to share one of the whole family. Now you see were he gets his good looks.

Mine on Monday {9/27/10}
Good Monday morning all! Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend. On Saturday, my hubby was digging up our front lawn in search of our well, (That’s another long story for a different day. LOL!) when the kids decided to join in the fun. Let’s just say Allie was having more fun playing in the dirt mound then actually digging. LOL! Emma actually said it best, “Allie’s making dirt angels!”. Which, pretty much, sums it up.
The C Family {Family Portraits}
Last night I had a nice session with the “C” family at their home. The weather was great and so was the soft evening light. We had fun shooting some traditional family shots and then the boys played a little football and we even got the dogs involved for a few shoots. Thanks guys for a nice night. Enjoy your peek for now. I’ll be in touch soon with the rest.
Meet the “C” Family!

And here’s the handsome Mr. “M”.

And my favorite family shot, I just love photos of a family being real.

What to Wear {Mini Session Style}
Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you are having a fabulous and relaxing day. I have been getting lots of questions asking what to wear to mini sessions in November. So I thought I would do a special edition of what to wear – mini session style. The biggest thing to remember about mini session dressing, is layers, layers, layers. It’s likely going to be chilly and layers will not only keep you and your little ones warm but you will also look super fashionable! Here’s a few examples of what I am talking about. Take a peek and happy shopping!
P.S. Please note, I am currently completely booked for the remainder of 2010 and now booking January 2011. By request, I have started a wait list for cancellations. If you are interested please email me: beth@bethbenoit.com.

One Big Happy Family {family portaits}
I had a fabulous session with the “M” family at their home this morning. I mean, I pretty much knew it was going to be awesome as I was driving there and the sun was just peeking out from behind the heavy clouds. The light was magical…seriously! I just LOVE shooting in overcast skies. Anyway, when I showed up I was greeted by such an amazing family. We all hit it off almost instantly and had such a blast together! Thank you guys for such an incredible session this morning. Seriously, when I was downloading my card I was giddy with excitement. I’m sure you’ll notice I shared a few more than usual but they are to awesome not to. Anyway, enjoy your peek for now and I’ll be in touch real soon with the rest!
Doesn’t this picture just scream, HAPPY!!!

And this one is, well, pretty much adorable!

And I had to share this one, see Mom, I did get a few smiles from Mr. Serious! LOL!

And last but certainly not least, this one just makes my heart happy. Pure joy!

No Luck {Band Photos}
Last night I caught up with the boys from the band “No Luck” at their live performance at The Circle of Fun in Putnam. While this was a complete departure from my normal portrait work, I have to say it was fun! It was definitely a challenge but also fun trying to be creative and capture them in a cool way during their live performance. Anyway, here’s a peek at some of my snaps from last night. Enjoy!
Sweet Baby S {5 days new}
This morning I had a newborn session with sweet baby S and her family. Miss. S is 5 days new and absolutely beautiful. Did I mention she has an adorable big sister, Miss. O. Thanks guys for a great morning. Here’s a little teaser for you. Enjoy!
Introducing Sweet Baby S

Love this sibling shot! Miss. O is such a great big sis!

The M Family {Sneak Peek}
This morning I had a nice session with the M family in their lovely home. It was a beautiful fall morning which allowed us to shoot both indoors and outdoors. We got some traditional shots and then we did some real life shots. It was a great morning, thanks M family. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
Here are a couple shots I know Mom was anxious to see.
First, the sibling shot. I love this one, so sweet!
Then, one of the group shots on the front steps.
(P.S. No head swaps here. LOL! )
