N&A {OpLove Session}

This morning I had the pleasure of hanging out with N&A, doing a deployment OpLove session for them. If you aren’t familiar with OpLove, you may be wondering what it is.

Operation: Love ReUnited, a.k.a OpLove is a non-profit, fully volunteer organization that offers professional photography sessions to military families and members who are getting ready to deploy, who are currently deployed, or those who are coming home. You can find more information about sessions, photographers in your area and much more by visiting their website here. I am grateful to be a part of this wonderful organization. It is so nice to be able to give back and make a difference in the lives of these men & women who do so much to keep our country safe. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do!

Expecting

Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful Miss. N and her sweetheart of a hubby J as they patiently await the arrival of their baby girl. You may recognize them from a few years back, when I shot their engagement photos. I was so excited when they contacted to me document this special time. I am looking forward to meeting their sweet bundle of joy in a few short weeks. Thanks guys for hanging in there in the chilly weather yesterday. Here’s a little peek at our session. Enjoy!

Extended family fun!

This morning I had a fun session with extended “L” family. It was quite a chilly morning but everyone hung in there and we got some really great shots. Thank you guys for being such troopers and dealing with the chilly weather. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The K’s and Fenway

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing the K’s and their adorable dog Fenway. We had such a nice session at their beautiful home. They have some seriously amazing light in their family room where we did some shots in front of the fire place and then we headed outside and got some more awesome shots. And of course had to include some with Fenway, their adorable dog. He totally stole my heart. Thank you guys for a great morning. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

The “B” Family

This afternoon, I had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous “B” family. It was an absolutely wonderful day and they choose an amazing location. All of which made for one fabulous session. Just for fun! {J&M Trash the Dress}

I have to start this post by saying, I AM NOT a wedding photographer and don’t do these type of sessions. If you are getting married and looking for a wedding photographer or are already married (as in this case) and looking to do some trash the dress pictures, I’d be happy to refer you to a colleague of mine. That being said, last week my sister and her hubby celebrated their one year anniversary and wanted to commemorate the occasion with some trash the dress style pics. So how could I say no, right?

And like I mentioned, the bride “J” is my sister so she had TONS of ideas about what she wanted from this session. (Which was nice, made my job easy. LOL!) So we started this session at their home, did some fun shots on an antique tractor, then did a cake smash (grown up style) with their wedding cake, then we headed to the local garage where the groom “M” works for some fun shots with a vintage Ford and finally we ended our session at the lake for some fun in the water. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Hope you are all spending the day with the ones you love. I will be. (I even have a date with my hubby today! Woohoo!) But before I rush off, I wanted to announce the winner of the “spread the love contest”. Thanks to all those who entered. The winner is: JoAnne Lambert. I am also very excited to share an awesome promo video that my friend Adam of Seriously Addicted Pictures put together for me. (Thanks Adam, you rock!) It’s a behind the scenes look at what a couples session is like. And being Valentine’s Day and all, it only seemed fitting to reveal it today. So please, take a peak and even leave a comment.
