Miss. bk {7 days old}
This morning I spent a few hours cuddling with sweet “miss. bk”, as her parents affectionately call her. Not only is she a sweet little girl but she’s beautiful too. She has TONS of black hair. In fact, she has so much, that I actually felt bad putting a hat on her and covering it up. LOL! And speaking of beautiful, her lashes are gorgeous. I mean really, you just don’t see those kind of lashes on newborns that often. Congrats guys she’s just darling, but then you already knew that.
Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
See told ya, so adorable right?
Homecoming {OpLove Session}
This afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing the “A” family, at the homecoming of their sailor. These sessions are always so emotional and touching. It’s hard to imagine what the families of these soldiers endure and the sacrifices they have to make. That’s why I truly enjoy being able to give back and participate in the organization OpLove. Operation: Love ReUnited is a non-profit, fully volunteer organization that offers professional photography sessions to military families and members who are getting ready to deploy, who are currently deployed, or those who are coming home. You can find out more about the organization by clicking here. Thank you guys for allowing me to be a part of your special day. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
The N Family
I had a fun session with the always adorable, M and his parents. If you follow the blog, I am sure that you recognize him. I’ve been photographing him since he was just a few days old. Anyway, today we started our session inside in the hopes of keep him warm and happy but he was actually much happier when we ventured outside in the cold. Go figure! LOL! In any event, doesn’t matter, we got lots of great shots and that’s all that counts. Here’s a little sneak peek. Enjoy!
His tongue totally cracks me up here!

Here, he’s in the famous “crate”. I’ve been photographing him in this since he was a tiny newborn.
This will be such a great way to look back and see how he has grown.
Rocking Family Session
This morning I had the pleasure of hanging out with the B family to get some fun family images of them. We had great weather, as I am sure you noticed. I mean seriously, 60 in November, who would have guessed. I got TONS of great images both more traditional ones and then more creative music ones. It was really hard only choosing a few to post! LOL! Thank you guys for a fun morning. Enjoy!
P.S. You may recognize dad, he is a member of the band “One Shot Deal”. I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing him and the band awhile back at their live performance at the Circle of Fun. You can see those pics and learn more about the band by clicking here.
Holiday Mini Sessions {Day Two}
Yesterday was day two of my annual holiday mini sessions. The weather was good, a bit chilly but really not bad for this time of year. And the light, the sweet fall light was perfect for shooting. Thank you all so much to all the wonderful families for coming out and making for such a fun day! Also, I’d like to say a BIG thanks to Krushefsky’s Tree Farm for hosting the day. If you haven’t already been there, you must go check out their huge selection of gorgeous trees, wreaths, garlands, log boxes and primitive collectible buildings and birdhouses. To find out more or just get directions click here.
Here’s a sneak peek our fun day! ***FYI, in an effort to not ruin any holiday card surprises I did not post any group/family pictures. (Even though I have LOTS of adorable ones!) Enjoy!
Happy Veteran’s Day! {OpLove Homecoming Session}
Happy Veteran’s Day to all who have served or continue to serve, we thank you! And what better way to say thanks than to photograph a homecoming. Yesterday, I had the privilege of photographing an OpLove homecoming for the “N” family. (If you aren’t familiar with OpLove you can find out more about this wonderful organization by clicking here.) Despite the pouring rain, spirits were soaring as everyone anxiously awaited the arrival of their loved ones. The “N” family hadn’t seen their daddy in 6 long months! I have no idea how mom was able to mange all 4 boys on her own for such a long time. It really shows you the strength, courage and sacrifice these families endure. And makes you truly appreciate our freedom. Somehow thank you doesn’t quite seem enough, but please know how much you are truly appreciated! Enjoy your sneak peek and welcome HOME!
The waiting, is the hardest part!
Urban Family
This morning I had a super fun urban session with the B family. Mom was looking to do something a bit different this year and I am sure she’s going to be so happy she did! We had a gorgeous sunny and warm morning, making for a ideal session conditions. Not to mention they are gorgeous family. Oh and in the interest of not spoiling any holiday card surprises, I haven’t included any family pics, just in case.
Hope you enjoy these teasers for now!
Holiday Mini Sessions {Day One}
Yesterday was day one of my annual holiday mini sessions and what a great day we had! The weather and light was perfect for shooting. Not to mention I got to spend the day playing and hanging out with some adorable kiddos and their parents. Thank you all so much for coming out! Here’s a sneak peek at the day! ***FYI, in an effort to not ruin any holiday card surprises I did not post any group/family pictures. (Even though I have LOTS of adorable ones!) Enjoy!
Mr. B {CT Newborn Photographer}
This morning I got to snuggle the adorable Mr. B. At five days old, he is already such a sweetheart. He was so good for our session and didn’t mind me moving him too much, as long as he wasn’t on his back. Anyway, I also wanted to give a shout out to his beautiful mama and say thanks for having me. Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
