Well, I did it! I finally finished updating my photo galleries and spiffing up my website and blog. So now it’s officially contest time!

Here’s the deal: Friday, February 10th – Monday, February 13th,
you may enter to win one of three fabulous prizes!

First Prize: $200 Gift Certificate to Beth Benoit Photography
Second Prize: $100 Gift Certificate to Beth Benoit Photography
Third Prize: $50 Gift Certificate to Beth Benoit Photography

You may enter up to three times. Here’s how:

Giving Thanks

Can you believe it, Thanksgiving is upon us already! Man, fall has just flown by. Speaking of things flying by, time sure has a way of doing that. Doesn’t it? The other day we were moving some things around in our room and my baby album somehow managed to get out. As you can imagine the kids were excited to pour over the images, and quite frankly, I wanted to peek at them too. So we did just that, page by page, flipping through the pictures commenting on who looked like who and how mush so and so changed. But then we came across a snapshot of me and my grandparents, which brought me to tears. (No really, I am still tearing up thinking about it now.) You see, I never really knew my grandmother until later in her life. But from the few years we did spend together, I really felt like we were so much alike. I often thought if we had been the same age we would have been good friends. Anyway, I had no idea that I had a photograph of her so when I came across the photo I was so thankful to have a picture, any picture, of her. It now sits framed in my office and brings a smile to my face every time I see it. What’s the moral of this story? Please, please, please, photograph your loved ones. You never know when your time together is going to run out. The holidays are a perfect time to get pictures while the whole family is together. And yes, I know, I am just as guilty, if not more, of NOT taking pictures of my family. But listen, lesson learned, I will be bringing my camera with me this Thanksgiving and I hope you do too! Phew, alright my P.S.A. (Public Service Announcement) is now over. LOL! Hope you and your family have a very happy and healthy Thanksgiving.

Finally fall

Ahhh, do you feel that? I do. It actually feels like fall around here! I am proudly sporting my favorite knee high boots, a light sweater vest, my hair is down and blowing ever so slightly from the gentle fall breeze blowing thru the screen in my office window. In this moment, all is right in the world. And while I sit here day dreaming, at my desk sipping my beverage of choice, ice tea, I realized I needed to let you all know what’s left for session dates for this year. Here goes, I currently have 2 dates left for regular sessions in 2011 – Saturday, October 29th and Saturday, December 3rd. I also have two spots left for mini sessions on Saturday, November 5th. SO, if you were hoping to squeeze in a session with me before the end of the year you’ll need to contact me ASAP so you don’t miss out! Now I’m headed outside to soak up some of this fabulous fall weather and you should too!

P.S. And because you know I can’t post without sharing an image, here is a picture of my hydrangeas in all their fall splendor and of course my boots. LOL!.

2011 Holiday Cards

Now that we have finally bid farewell to summer it’s time to bring on the fun fall season! And I couldn’t think of a better way to kick it off than with the launch of my limited edition holiday cards. This year’s designs are going to knock your socks off and make you the envy of all your friends! Not to mention they are super easy to order and available now, so you can get a jump start on ordering and addressing them. That way, you will actually have time to deck the halls this year! LOL!

Alright, let’s talk cards. This year, I am thrilled to be offering unique die cut cards! These cards are beautifully press printed on card stock and then die cut with a lovely ornate edge. Making them more than just cards, but rather, custom keepsakes for your friends and family to cherish for years to come! You won’t find cards like this at your local pharmacy or chain store folks. Farewell to Summer

Well, the kids are back to school, so I guess it’s officially time to bid farewell to summer. This summer seemed to breeze by very fast! It was fun, but now it’s time to gear up for fall, my personal favorite time of year! But, before I dive into my busiest season of the year, I am taking a quick weekend away with my family for a bit of R&R. I will be out of the office all day Saturday, September 10th & Sunday, September 11th. I will return all calls and emails when I return on Monday, September 12th. After the storm . . .

Just checking in, we still have no power. We did borrow a generator from a very generous friend. This has allowed us to pump all the water out of our basement but I am unable to run my work computer from home. I am currently using my hubby’s laptop at my in-laws to answer emails and Facebook messages. We have yet to get any kind of restoration info so for now I will be unable to edit any images. I apologize to those of you waiting on your galleries. At this point, they will be delayed but I am not sure for how long. Please know that I will get them to you as soon as possible.

Wall Display Winners Announced!

TGIF everyone! What a busy week it’s been! Anyway, today I get to announce the winners of the Wall Display Contest. Boy, was this a close race! The top two entries were only one vote apart! If this had been a government election they would have demanded a recount so to prevent any recounting, I have decided to give TWO first place prizes! Which means entry TWO & THREE will both receive a $150 gift certificate and entry ONE will be receiving a $75 gift certificate. Thank you again to everyone for voting and congrats to the winners.
